Joshua Redman (natural February 1, 1969) is a large jazz saxophonist who records for Warner Brothers records. Natural around Berkeley, California, he is a graduate of Berkeley High [http://www.pbs.org/jazz/biography/artist_id_redman_joshua.htm]. He so graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University in 1991.

Redman won a Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition the same seasin & began focusing on his musical career. He is the artistic director of San Francisco's SF Jazz Collective, which is considered by many to become an emerging geographic & philosophical competition to the stylistically neo-classicist Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra under the counsel of Wynton Marsalis.
